Growing up, I wanted to be everything from a marine biologist to a museum curator—and, let’s be honest, I still kind of do. My love of learning has taken me across careers, countries, and countless hobbies. I’ve been a door-to-door salesman (yes, really!), a camp counselor, a youth development associate, program coordinator, and a dedicated educator. While my roots are in K–12 education, I’m enthusiastic about learning at all ages and have since expanded my work into adult education. I’m particularly interested in how technology can transform learning on a broader scale.
When I’m not working on the next big idea in education, you’ll probably find me with a book in hand, playing the ukulele, or creating ceramics in the pottery studio. I’m passionate about people, conversations, and creating spaces where everyone can grow, learn, and laugh along the way.
Right now, I’m deep in the world of educational innovation and technology, working on building more equitable learning opportunities for ALL students. Lately, that has looked like me diving into instructional design, human-centered learning, and researching the relationships between users and technology. Whether I’m advocating for learners or experimenting with new ideas, my goal is simple: make learning something everyone can love.
